How do I become a Florida Real Estate Agent?

Florida Real Estate Agent Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You must hold a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • You must have a valid Social Security number, but you do not have to be a US citizen or a Florida resident to apply for a license.
  • You must complete and pass an accredited, 63-hour, pre-license course for real estate sale associates.

Steps to License 

  1. Sign up for a Pre-License course HERE
  2. APPLY for a license with the DBPR (we suggest you go ahead and start this process as it may take up to 30 days to process. Your application must be processed and fingerprints submitted before you can take your state test.)
  3. Schedule your FINGERPRINTING.
  4.  Complete your course
  5. Pass your end of course exam.
  6. Receive a certificate of completion form your school
  7. Sign up for your test date with candidate ID from Pearson Vue 
  8. pass your state exam with HELP from us (if you do not pass the first try, you can schedule a retake)
What kind of classes do you offer?

We offer 3 different settings for our classes 

  • In class- These classes will meet in the Northwest Florida region. Check our calendar for specific times and locations
  • LIve Virtual- These classes are instructor led with real time instruction. It’s just like being in class, but from the comfort of your own home. 
  • Online Static- These courses are designed with you in mind. Complete at your own pace, on your own schedule. 



What if I need help passing my state exam?

Take our cram for the exam course. Denis teaches a 7 hr cram course that covers everything you need to know for the test. You can ask specific questions if you need extra help on certain topics.

What to do after I pass my test?

Now is it time to search for the perfect Broker. Call us or Email us to sign up for our Job Placement, Mentor Program, and Career Coaching.

Also, within first two years, you must Complete 45 hours Post-License Education 

And keep up with your continuing education requirements
